TelGraphic

From description to scene

The original X23™ library for geometric XML scenes, keeping the model separate from the interface and rendering system.

A scene with its own structure

Geometry, materials, nodes, camera and transformations belong to one model. XML descriptions organize and validate scene data before visualization.

Technical overview

A renderer-independent model

The C++20 core does not depend on TelHuman, OpenGL or a particular window. The application chooses the output for its needs.

Materials, transformations and attachment points

Scenes include materials, object transformations and attachment points that relate objects. Behaviour and animation remain application responsibilities.

A dedicated OpenGL output

TelGraphicOpenGL provides an optional renderer. The geometric core can be used without automatically requiring OpenGL or TelHuman.

Experiments and verification

Mechanical scenes and a chessboard

Examples include a mechanical scene and a chessboard with reusable geometry, materials and pieces attached to squares. They demonstrate composition and relationships, rather than finished simulation or gaming products.

Interaction through TelHuman

TelGraphicDemo loads scenes and changes their view through TelHuman controls. Tests distinguish the model from visualization and check interface integration.
